Exploration probe module and premium CHIRP
The GSD 25 premium probe module is a remote network solution that provides exceptional fish search and background tracking capabilities. It offers 1 kW two-channel CHIRP, in addition to Garmin’s CHIRP DownVü and SideVü exploration probes to enjoy the sharpest exploration images in the water. The images sent to the compatible Garmin plotter provide details of objectives so clear and precise that you can distinguish between small fish and very close to key fishing depths of up to 1.52 kilometers (5,000 feet).
CHIRP of 1 kW real two-channel
CHIRP is the most sophisticated probe technology available to users in the field of fishing and navigation. CHIRP is the acronym for Compressed High-Intensity Radiated Pulse. What you will get is a much higher resolution, clarity and sharpness of the objectives than with any other probe system. If you have the real 1 kW two-channel Garmin CHIRP probe as your usual probe, you can adjust the CHIRP frequencies in low/medium, low/high and medium/high to optimize the performance of the probe. The transducer is sold separately.
Exploration probes that offer the sharpest images in the water
By incorporating CHIRP technology into the DownVü and SideVü exploration probes, you get a higher resolution, a better separation of objectives and a greater sharper clarity of the images of the structures and the fish that pass under and on the sides of the boat. Integrated into our new GPSMAP xsv combinations and the GSD 25 premium probe module, it uses a transducer for the traditional CHIRP HD-ID probe and the CHIRP DownVü and SideVü scanning probes. The transducer is sold separately.
Choose a Garmin transducer
This new probe is so exclusive that we have developed our own transducers, specially designed to work with our new probe and offer the best performance. Consult our Transducer Selection Guide and find the ideal transducer for you.
