Keep in touch from the water
Communication and knowledge of the situation are two critical factors in water. The fixed-mounted VHF 215i AIS radio shows an AIS on the plotter to improve communication and knowledge of the situation in order to avoid collisions with other navigators around the world.
Enjoy greater peace of mind
In an emergency situation, the 25-watt transmission power of the VHF 215i AIS provides fishermen, navigators and other seafarers with the peace of mind they need.
Communicate without problems from the water
It is very easy to install and use. You just have to connect it to a compatible Garmin plotter or multifunction display through the NMEA 2000® network. The VHF 215i AIS incorporates the standard DSC class D function (emergency calls and direct calls with user-programmed MMSI). Nautical radio is offered pre-programmed with international nautical channels. It is also compatible with NMEA 0183 and includes a two-way warning system for on-board communication.
Stylish communications
We are aware that being on the bridge is a source of pride and, therefore, we have designed the VHF 215i AIS nautical radio as the perfect complement to the plotters of the GPSMAP® 7×2/9×2, GPMAP 10×2/12×2 and GPSMAP 7400/7600 series, as well as the GPSMAP 8400/8600 multifunction screens and plotters.
