The high-strength 17-4PH stainless steel pin remains captive in the shackle when unscrewed ensuring that the pin stays with the shackle and never gets lost or rolls overboard.
2:1 Halyard Shackles
Tylaska’s 2:1 halyard shackles feature a sheave that allows for the shackle and halyard to be configured in a 2:1 purchase arrangement, doubling the mechanical advantage when hauling or tightening a sail. The high strength composite sleeve bearing is well suited for high static loads and is capable of handling the full rated load of the shackle.
